I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again and again… Seth Godin has some great thoughts that continue to inspire and challenge me. A recent blog post of his hits the nail on the head for me when it comes to ministry.
So many times in ministry we are caught with the the tools and the toys of ministry. We want to know what program to use or what kind of website to build and what games to play and what artist/builder to use for our new set/building.
All the tools we need are out there. We don’t have to worry about those. Get a dream, get a vision… Assume that the people and tools exist to accomplish what you want. Once you know what you want, then go for it. Be creative in in how you accomplish the dream. Tell people about the dream, the vision. Bring people along the journey in accomplishing that vision and dream.
