Wow! Thanks Robin. It's my desire to see more up-front leaders really understand the necessity of taking ministry to children as serious as they do ministry to students and adults. "Imagine what a kid coudl do as they grow with a vision and mission for being difference makers in their world for Jesus?" Imagine, indeed!!!

I saw this video when Scot posted it…saved it because it is very insightful…your post was freakin brilliant H! I'm impressed that such deep and profound insight is coming from the brain of a young whippersnapper like you! :0)

Seriously, great post…I couldn't agree more! We entertain kids…that's all we do in churchworld. Until we start to take them seriously and start building an imagination within them for Kingdom living…until we start to see that their intellect is HUGE and their potential is profound for the Kingdom NOW, churchworld will continue to flounder. Imagine what a kid could do as they grow with a vision and mission for being difference makers in their world for Jesus? Instead, we play games and teach hand motions…seriously, churchworld has problems!

So, Mr. Brilliant…keep it up! Go Red Wings! Sorry, couldn't help it!

That video was hilarious…and a little close to home!
In addition to my ministry duties, I also work part time in our daycare center. I never cease to be in awe of what 3's and 4's latch onto. I may think they aren't paying attention, but they are extrapolating conclusions and drawing out sometimes profound applications.
