Just a thought… I wonder if those outside of a relationship with Christ perceive church this way? Are more interested in “getting ur number” than in building relationship and loving? I’m not saying that we don’t point to Christ, but sometimes I think we skip the crucial step of earning trust first by loving people with no strings attached and allowing the Holy Spirit to open those opportunities for us to point back to Christ.

okay. that is sad and hysterical at the same time.
scary analogy though. i think we lose sight of the fact that it is our role to present the gospel. God is the one that gets the 'number'. i'm happy to leave that in His hands.
